SEPTEMBER 21-22, 2019


TODAY IS THE TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

THE THEME FOR TODAY’S MASS IS: TO EACH HIS/HER OWN

Our announcements are:

  • There will be coffee and donuts available after the 10:30 a.m. Mass Sunday/today in Westfield down in the Hall. Please come down and join us.

  • The Knights of Columbus will meet Monday, the 23rd in Westfield at 7:30 p.m. They also are selling their C&B drawing tickets. There are some available at the back of the church at both locations.

  • The Legion of Mary will meet after the 7:00 p.m. Mass on Wednesday the 25th after the 7:00 p.m. Mass.

  • Part 2 for the Bible Study of St. Luke will start on Thursday the 26th at 10:15 a.m. in Westfield. Please prepare lesson one before class.

  • 2020 Lector Workbooks are available in the office if anyone is interested. The cost is $10.

  • On Sunday, October 6th the St. Gianna Pregnancy and Outreach Center is asking us to either join them at Blessed Mary Angela Parish in Dunkirk or to stand in front of our church to pray for the unborn. This would be from 2:00 -3:00 p.m. At 3:30 p.m. they will have a reception for all who participated. There is more in the bulletin regarding this.

  • Please plan on coming to Lake Erie State Park on October 13th at 4:00 p.m. for the Rosary Coast to Coast. All over the world we will be praying, at the same time, the rosary to defeat Satan.

  • The Priest Appreciation Dinner is scheduled on Sunday, Oct. 13th at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall in Fredonia. Please call the office or Bob Ducato for tickets.

  • There will be Mass celebrated in Ripley on Sunday, Oct. 29th at 4:00 p.m. in Meeder’s Restaurant. Please plan to join us.

  • Our Parish Appeal has now reached $13,250! We paid our insurance now we need a little more to be able to pay our Education Assessment. Thank you and may God Bless each and everyone who contributed to this appeal.
