The Vision and Mission of St. Dominic Parish

United in God’s love, the faith community of St. Dominic Parish celebrating the presence of Christ in the spirit of faith and fellowship by full participation in the life of our parish community.

We, the faith community of Dominic Parish commits ourselves to:
- share our beliefs with all people through Eucharist, prayer, education and service.
- Encourage and assist in the faith development of others especially our young people through the Sacraments, Liturgy of the Word, and compassionate concern for all.

Our announcements are:

  • St. Patrick’s Day celebration last Sunday was very successful. Fr. Romy and the staff are very grateful for your cooperation. Thank you for your support.

  • As most of you know our Thrift Sale is next weekend and we’re in trouble. After an initial flurry of generous donations, drop-offs have dwindled to next to nothing. Please look in your cupboards, closets, attic, and garages for useful, but unneeded, items to donate and help this important fundraiser for St. Dominic’s. Remember, one person’s discard may be another person’s desire. Donations are being accepted each afternoon at the Westfield site until March 28th, Sale on 29-31st. Thank you for your generosity and support.

  • The Bible Class students on the Gospel of Luke Part 1 will be graduating this coming Thursday. The students’ feedbacks are very positive and there will be a continuous Bible Class at St. Dominic Parish from both sites: For Brocton every Saturday at 2:30-3:30 pm and for Westfield every Sunday at 9am – 10am beginning this April 2019 with Paul Graham and the team as facilitators. Sign-up sheet at the entrance of the church and write your name.

  • Let us praise the Lord for Alex Bourgeios who will receiving his first communion this Sunday Mass at 8:30 am. Let us pray for his family.

  • Remember the Stations of the Cross, they will be held at both locations at 7:00 p.m. on the Friday’s of Lent. The Knights of Columbus is providing FREE fish sandwiches and fries before and after Stations at Westfield Site.

  • There will be coffee and donuts after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in Westfield this Sunday the 24th. Please stop down and join us.

  • There will be sign-up sheets at both locations for helping at the Spaghetti Supper which is May 1st in Brocton. If you want to help in the kitchen, dining room, take-out line, clean-up, etc. there is a sign-up sheet for those positions.

  • There will be a recollection for all Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers on April 7,2019 in Westfield at 6-7 pm with Paul Graham – facilitator then followed by Penance Service.

  • There will be a Seminar for new Eucharistic Ministers on March 30 at Jamestown. Please call the office for details.

  • We have many available dates for Mass Intentions. Please call the office.
