TODAY IS THE TWENTY-NINTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

THE THEME FOR TODAY’S MASS IS:

Our announcements are:

  • There will be coffee and donuts available after the 8:30 a.m. Mass Sunday/today in Brocton. Please come down and enjoy some refreshments.

  • The Harvest Potluck Dinner is Sunday/today at 5:00 p.m. in Brocton. All parishioners are invited. Please come and join us and please bring a dish to pass!

  • The Parish Pastoral Council will hold their next meeting on Monday, Oct. 21st at 7:00 p.m. in Westfield.

  • Next Sunday, the 27th, there will be coffee and donuts available after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in Westfield. Please plan to join us.

  • There will be Mass celebrated next Sunday the 27th at 4:00 p.m. in Ripley at Meeder’s Restaurant. Please plan to come and join us.

  • All individuals taking the Bible Study class on Luke Part 2, please do Chapter 3 for Thursday’s class at 10:00 a.m. in Westfield.

  • On Saturday, Oct. 26th, Andrew and Tim Mead-Colegrove will be confirmed at St. Anthony’s Church at 4:00 p.m. Please congratulate them when you see them. We are very proud of them. Congratulations boys!

  • Please be aware that there is a scam going around using a priest’s name, and Fr. Romy’s has been used. This scam has been done through the telephone and text message. They say that they need you to get an eBay gift card for a friend going through cancer in the hospital, but that they can’t do it now....can you get it from a store around you now? I’ll pay you back as soon as I can. Please beware that this is a scam!

  • Thank you to all who contributed to the air-conditioning fund in Westfield. We now only owe $900!

  • On November 13th, which is a Wednesday, Father will hold a Parish Assembly after the 7:00 p.m. Mass. Please mark your calendars now. You need to attend so you know exactly what is going on in your parish and where we stand. Please attend this important assembly.
