TODAY IS THE SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT

THE THEME FOR TODAY’S MASS IS: ALL MANKIND SHALL SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD

Our announcements are:

  • The Holy Name Society will have their breakfast meeting, Sunday/today, after the 8:30 a.m. Mass in Brocton at the Diner.

  • On Monday, Dec. 10th Father asks that ALL Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers attend the Recollection meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the St. James Worship Site.

  • Following the Recollection there will be a Penance Service for everyone wishing to go to confession for Christmas. This will start at 7:30 p.m. in Westfield.

  • The Knights of Columbus Council 3100 will hold their next meeting on Monday, Dec. 10th at 7:30 p.m. in Westfield. There will also be a Mass for the Deceased Knights on Saturday, Dec. 29th at the 5:30 p.m. Mass in Westfield. Following that Mass there will be a dinner down in the Hall. There will be more on this next week.

  • The Legion of Mary will hold their next gathering on Wednesday, Dec. 12th at 7:30 p.m. in Westfield.

  • During Advent and the coming of our Lord, Fr. Romy will prepare by having a Christmas Novena. This will start on Monday, Dec. 17th through Christmas Eve. There will more about this in next week’s bulletin. Also, Father is asking us during this Novena, to bring food items and gifts for our families in need to share with them during this Christmas season.
